2010 ROUGH RIDERS RACING DIRT DRAGS-RULES
PURE STOCK - $20
1. No modifications other than lift and DOT tires
2. Diesels must have factory turbo and injection system
STREET STOCK - $30
1. Factory produced street vehicles only
2. Must have factory type motors, cylinder heads, and drive train. No KBs, brodix, dart, etc…
3. Must present current license plate & registration for race
4. Must pull 16” of vacuum at 1000 RPM
5. Single carb only. Holley, etc.. OK dual plane intake only
6. Pump gasoline only. No racing fuels
7. Headers permitted with street legal exhaust. No open headers allowed
8. Must use factory suspension (lifts are OK)
9. Stock wheelbase to match stock body, no engine setbacks
10. Must have full factory body, no cutting on body except for trimming for tire clearance
11. Must have full factory dash – aftermarket gauges are ok
12. DOT uncut tires only
13. No ladder bars, floaters, or coilover shocks
14. No body or frame swaps
15. Aftermarket ignition allowed
16. Open top vehicles must have roll bar
17. All participant must wear helmet and seatbelt
18. No riders in any vehicle while in competition
MODIFIED STOCK - $40
1. Factory produced vehicles only
2. Stock wheelbase to match stock body. No engine setbacks. Body swaps are allowed
3. Must have factory body – no cutting body – except for tire clearance
4. Single carb only. Aftermarket carburetors OK
5. Racing fuel allowed
6. Open headers allowed. Ran through the hood or downsweep OK
7. Must have factory type blocks and cast iron cylinder heads, and drivetrain
8. Must use factory suspension ( ladder bars are legal)
9. Must have full factory dash – aftermarket gauges are ok
10. Aftermarket ignitions are OK
11. No chain drive in this class
12. Open top vehicles must have roll bar
13. All participants must wear helmet and seatbelt
14. No riders in vehicle while in competition
SUPER STOCK - $50
1. Vehicles must have 4 point harness
2. No tire modifications
3. Must use factory frame and suspension. Ladder bars and performance shocks are legal
4. Must have factory steel cab with windshield or lexan, factory firewall and floor pan
5. Must have 4 point roll cage minimum no exceptions
6. You may have dash modifications
7. Body must have factory dimensions
8. Engine must remain in factory position
9. No dual carbs. No fuel injections or turbos or blowers – factory only. No alcohol, Racing fuel only
10. Aftermarket ignition allowed. Aftermarket aluminum heads are allowed. Must have factory engine block.
11. Cubic inch limit is 472 ci. Will be checked
PRO STOCK - $75
1. Vehicles must have 4 point harness
2. No cubic inch limit
3. No tire modifications
4. Must use factory frame and suspension. Ladder bars and performance shocks are legal (Coilovers OK)
5. Must have factory steel cab with windshield or lexan, factory firewall and floor pan
6. Must have 4 point roll cage minimum no exceptions
7. You may have dash modifications
8. Body must have factory dimensions
9. Engine must remain in factory position
10. No dual carbs. No fuel injections or turbos or blowers – factory only. No alcohol, Racing fuel only
11. Aftermarket ignition allowed. Aftermarket aluminum heads are allowed. Must have factory engine block. No aluminum blocks
OUTLAW- $100
1. No paddle tires
2. No tractor tires
3. Rail/tube chassis not allowed
4. Any engine block or engine modifications
5. Any body or body modifications but must remain truck appearing
6. Any type of drive train allowed
7. Any type of suspension allowed
8. Driver may sit in any location as long as there is a metal firewallbetween engine and driver
9. Must have at least one loop per driveshaft
10. Must have a transmission blanket/shield
11. Engine may be set back in frame
12. Dual four barrels are allowed
13. Alcohol and nitrous allowed
14. If running alcohol or nitrous, driver must wear a full fire suit
15. No turbos or superchargers
16. Aftermarket transfer case or chain drive allowed
17. Must have OEM frame rails between the axles
RACE- PAYOUT – MUST BE 6 TRUCKS IN CLASS TO GUARANTEE PAYOUT
